4X - Celebrating the 77th anniversary since the foundation of the Israel
Association of Radio Communication (IARC) and the establishment of
the State of Israel, local amateurs may use special prefixes 4X77
and 4Z77 from 30 April to 10 May. [TNX 4X1RE]
C3 - Members of the Unio de Radioaficionats Andorrans (C37URA ) will be
active as C37JPE throughout May. QSL via the bureau or direct. The
special callsign's suffix stands for Jocs dels Petits Estats d'Eu-
ropa, the Games of the Small States of Europe whose 20th edition
will be held in Andorra la Vella on 26-31 May.
DL - Celebrating the Deutsche Amateur-Radio-Club's 75th anniversary,
four special callsigns will be activated by DARC Team SES from 1
May to 31 October: DC75DARC, DD75DARC, DK75DARC, and DR75DARC. See

Jahre DARC" certificate. QSLs via the bureau, or direct to DL2VFR.
HB0 - Kasimir, DL2SBY will be active as HB0/DL2SBY from Liechtenstein on
11-18 May. He will be QRV on the HF bands with verticals and an
inverted vee, and on 6 metres with 5-element yagi. QSL via LoTW, or
direct to home call. He no longer uses the bureau.
I - II3IARU is the special callsign for Alex, IV3KKW to mark the 100th
anniversary of the IARU and the 75th anniversary of IARU Region 1
from 28 April until 18 May. QSL via home call. A member of IARU
Region 1 Executive Committee, Alex is also the VHF/UHF/Microwave
Contest Co-ordinator.
JA - Take, JI3DST will be active again as JS6RRR from Miyako Island (AS-
079) between 23 April and 18 June. Other callsigns to be used are
JI3DST/6, JJ5RBH/6 and JA3YEC/6, as well as JI3DST/p, JJ5RBH/p and
JA3YEC/p on FT8. QSLs via Club Log's OQRS; QSOs will be made
available for Club Log and LoTW Matching on the IOTA website. [TNX

OE - 4U0IARU is the special callsign for the VIC Amateur Radio Contest
DX Club (4U1A, https://4u1a.club/) to celebrate the centenary of
the IARU since 25 April. This activity counts for Austria for DXCC,
and for the Vienna International Centre for the CQ DX Marathon.
QSOs are uploaded to Club Log.
ON - OT25EPIC is the special callsign for the Antwerp Port Contest Club
(ON8APC) to promote this year's edition of the Antwerp Port Epic
cycling race. Look for activity between 10 May and 9 June (the
actual day the race will be held on). QSL via ON8JJ.
UN - Fourteen special event stations will be active on 1-10 May to mark
The 80th anniversary of the end of World War II and recognize
Kazakhstan's contribution to the victory: UP80V, UQ80V, UO80V,
UP80B, UP80D, UP80F, UP80G, UP80I, UP80J, UP80L, UP80M, UP80N,

for the ten Most Wanted DXCC Entities (2015-24), the 62 deleted DXCC
Entities, obsolete prefixes, stations from Maghreb from 1945 to 1962,
Allied Forces stations in Germany (1945-80), special stations commemorating
ITU and IARU, stations using the United Nations prefix (4U), Antarctic bases
and TAAF (Terres Australes et Antarctiques Francaises), amateur radio
"globetrotters", the various French DXCC island Entities in the Pacific
Ocean, the Indian Ocean and the Americas (1945-1969), pre-1945 countries,
French Departments and CONUS, plus a gallery for cards not accepted by DXCC.

THE HERITAGE CQ AMATEUR RADIO HALL OF FAME ---> The CQ Amateur Radio Hall of
Fame was established in January 2001 to recognize those individuals, whether
licensed radio amateurs or not, who significantly affected the course of
amateur radio; and radio amateurs who, in the course of their professional
lives, had a significant impact on their professions or on world affairs.
The CQ Amateur Radio Hall of Fame was controlled by Richard Ross, K2MGA (SK)
and Rich Moseson, W2VU of CQ Magazine fame. CQ Magazine has discontinued,
but the Heritage CQ Amateur Radio Hall of Fame will continue to honor select
qualified individuals. Hamgallery is the new steward of this award, with
blessing from Cathy Ross (wife of K2MGA) and Rich, W2VU.
The 2025 inductees are: Prof. Jim Breakall, WA3FET; Angel M. Vazquez, WP3R;
Wayne Overbeck, Ph.D., N6NB (SK). Their profiles can be found on

ZS8W ---> Despite initial challenges, Yuris has been operational from Marion
Island since 27 April. He is currently off the air, however, as he is doing
"some antenna work on the island" for "up to three days", DX World reports.
According to Club Log, the last logged QSO was made on 1 May at 09:58 UTC.
At that time, ZS8W had made 9457 FT8 QSOs and 797 CW QSOs on 40, 30, 20, 17,
15 and 10 metres.
