...NO THUNDERSTORM AREAS FORECAST...
...SUMMARY... Isolated weak thunderstorms are possible today south
of the Florida Straits.
A mid-level trough will move through the southern Plains today,
which may lead to some showers along the south Texas coast.
Instability is forecast to be weak and shallow which will limit the
threat for lightning. Therefore, the general thunderstorm outlook
area was removed from south Texas.
Westward moving convection is possible south of the Florida Straits
today and tonight. Deeper convection is expected with southward
extent as instability increases. The substantial threat for
thunderstorms has shifted slightly south of the Florida Straits,
and therefore, the thunder line was removed from this area.
