...NO THUNDERSTORM AREAS FORECAST...
...SUMMARY... Severe thunderstorms are not forecast across the
contiguous United States tonight.
...Synopsis... Quasi-zonal flow will characterize the upper-air
pattern tonight across much of the Lower 48, with the exception
being a mid-level trough over southern CA/Baja. In the low levels,
high pressure will remain centered over the northern High Plains
extending southeast to the Great Lakes. Clouds with a few showers
are possible over the north-central part of the FL Peninsula near a
front, but thunderstorms are not expected with this activity tonight.
