...SUMMARY... A few thunderstorms will linger over south Florida
this evening.
...South Florida...
Back edge of large-scale forcing for ascent is spreading across
south FL as the primary short-wave trough approaches. Earlier strong
thunderstorm activity has moved off the south Atlantic Coast with
only a few weak thunderstorms now trailing across Collier County.
00z sounding from MFL exhibited sufficient MUCAPE for lightning,
however continued boundary-layer cooling and low-level convergence
shifting offshore suggest the thunderstorm potential is quickly
coming to an end.
