Organized severe thunderstorms are not expected tonight.

Slow-moving organized line of convection has developed from
northwestern OH/eastern IN ahead of a progressive short-wave trough.
This activity is expected to propagate downstream this evening, but
gradually weaken as boundary-layer cooling results in weaker
buoyancy across this region. 00z sounding from ILN exhibits very
poor lapse rates and negligible instability with surface
temperatures in the mid 60s.
Elsewhere, greater instability currently exists across portions of
the TN Valley into the central Gulf States but onset of diurnal
cooling and the absence of meaningful large-scale ascent do not
favor robust convection tonight.
