An upper-level trough will move eastward across the Appalachians
tonight as mid-level flow remains from the west-northwest across the
central United States. At the surface, a dry and cold airmass will
remain in place across much of the nation. This will make conditions
unfavorable for thunderstorms this evening through tonight.
