...NO SEVERE THUNDERSTORM AREAS FORECAST...
...SUMMARY...
Severe thunderstorms are not anticipated through Monday morning.
...Synopsis...
A potent shortwave trough continues to progress eastward along the
southern Arizona border. Earlier thunderstorm activity in
southwest/central Arizona has weakened as it has moved into an
airmass with temperature only in the upper 40s to low 50s F.
Isolated thunderstorm activity continues from the southern Phoenix
metro area into southwest Arizona. Radar/lightning trends, however,
have shown a decrease in intensity in the last half hour. The
strongest remaining activity could produce gusty winds and small
hail. Severe weather is not anticipated for the remainder of the
evening/overnight.
