Thunderstorms associated with marginally severe winds will be
possible for another hour this evening from eastern Georgia
northeastward into west-central North Carolina.
...Eastern Georgia/South Carolina/West-central North Carolina...
The latest radar imagery from Greenville-Spartanburg, South Carolina
shows a line of storms extending from northeast Georgia into
west-central North Carolina. The latest RAP analysis shows a 50 to
60 knot low-level jet along this corridor, which will help support
an isolated wind damage threat for another hour or so. However,
instability has become very weak near the line. This has resulted in
a downtrend in convective intensity, and any wind-damage threat is
expected to be marginal early this evening...see MCD 253.
