My quest for perfection ( ho hum ! ) has resulted in a number of msgs to [ SCOT ].
In Scotland we can send a msg to all Scottish BBS' using [ SCOT ] in the [ AT ] field
in BPQ mail configuration.

My forwarding showed this :-

241103 09:45:00 ?GM4UPX Msg 4473 Routing Trace To SCOT Via GBR
241103 09:45:00 ?GM4UPX Routing Trace Type B (Flood) TO SCOT VIA GBR Route On WW EU GBR (null) (null)
241103 09:45:00 ?GM4UPX Routing Trace HR WW EU GBR (null) (null) Matches BBS xxxxx
241103 09:45:00 ?GM4UPX Routing Trace AT SCOT Matches BBS xxxxx
241103 09:45:00 ?GM4UPX Routing Trace AT SCOT Matches BBS xxxxx
241103 09:45:00 ?GM4UPX Routing Trace HR WW EU GBR (null) (null) Matches BBS xxxxx
241103 09:45:00 ?GM4UPX Routing Trace - No Match

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

and it didn't seem right to me as the AT SCOT Matches were not BBS in Scotland

Anyway, after some tests ( yes, I could have switched off immediate forwarding but I
didn't think of that 'till later ! ) I now have :~

241103 10:16:31 ?GM4UPX Msg 4476 Routing Trace To SCOT Via SCOT
241103 10:16:31 ?GM4UPX Routing Trace Type B (Flood) TO SCOT VIA SCOT Route On SCOT (null) (null) (null) (null)
241103 10:16:31 ?GM4UPX Routing Trace AT SCOT Matches BBS xxxxx
241103 10:16:31 ?GM4UPX Routing Trace AT SCOT Matches BBS xxxxx
241103 10:16:31 ?GM4UPX Routing Trace - No Match

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

with the AT SCOT Matches being two BBS' in Scotland.

SUCCESS !! ( maybe )

Now all that's needed is everyone to send bulletins to SCOT@GBR or SCOT@EURO or SCOT@WW
to see if I have it right !

Regards,
Ian..
