No tropical cyclones, depressions, or named storms are expected to directly threaten Central America tomorrow, Monday, August 24, 2026. 
The Atlantic, Caribbean, and nearby Eastern Pacific basins remain completely clear of active cyclone hazards headed toward the mainland. The latest monitoring details from the [National Hurricane Center (NHC)](https://www.nhc.noaa.gov/gtwo.php) and regional meteorological offices indicate the following setups: 
## 🌀 Atlantic & Caribbean Basin Monitoring

* 
* Central Subtropical Atlantic (AL95): The NHC is monitoring a low-pressure area (AL95) located 400 miles southeast of Bermuda. It has a 50¦edium chance of development over the next 48 hours but is tracking entirely northward, completely away from the Caribbean and Central America. [4] 
* Far Eastern Atlantic Wave: A robust tropical wave is emerging off the west coast of Africa. It holds a 50œhance of slow tropical development over the next seven days as it treks westward. It is thousands of miles away and poses zero threat to Central America tomorrow.
