## 🌊 Eastern Pacific 7-Day Outlook
The coastal waters stretching along the southern perimeter of Central America are completely clear of organized storm tracks. [11]
*
* Offshore Low Pressure Risk: Forecasters note a low-pressure area could form well offshore of Southern Mexico or northern Central America late this weekend. It has a very low long-range track probability and is projected to move west-northwest, keeping any potential cyclone development far away from Central American soil. [11]
* Distant Storm Activity: Active named systems in the wider Pacific basin, such as Tropical Storm Iselle (spinning far out past Baja California) and weakening Tropical Storm Lala (near Hawaii), are completely isolated and have no physical impact on regional weather patterns. [3, 12]

## ܠ️ Saturated Ground and Non-Cyclonic Rain Alert
Even though a major hurricane landfall is not expected this week, local weather remains dangerous. High atmospheric instability combined with regular tropical wave passages will continue to trigger heavy seasonal downpours and severe thunderstorms every afternoon across the Pacific slopes of Costa Rica and Panama. Because regional soil water retention remains critically high at 70aturation, typical non-cyclonic tropical rain showers this week still carry an elevated risk of flash flooding and sudden mudslides.
