No tropical storms or hurricanes are active in the Pacific basin near Central
America, meaning there is no active Pacific storm watch report for tomorrow,
Friday, August 14, 2026.

The Eastern Pacific coastline remains free of cyclonic threats due to strong wind
shear and dry atmospheric conditions. However, local weather services across
the region maintain a General Rainy Season Watch due to the lingering
effects and leftover moisture of Tropical Wave 33.

The regional weather outlook for tomorrow includes:

ܠ️ Localized Hazards & Warnings

Saturated Soils: Severe rainfall over the last 48 hours has heavily
saturated the ground. A watch is in place for spontaneous landslides and
mudslides in mountainous regions, particularly in Western Panama
(Chiriquí), Costa Rica, and the volcanic chain of Nicaragua and El Salvador.

River Flooding: Small rivers and streams remain highly vulnerable to flash
 floods during sudden afternoon downpours

.Lightning Danger: Any storms that develop tomorrow afternoon will
feature frequent cloud-to-ground lightning and brief, intense wind gusts

🌤️ Regional Forecast for Tomorro

wMorning: Mostly sunny to partly cloudy across the entire Pacific coast of
Central America. High solar radiation will trigger an Extreme UV Index
Watch (Categories 9 to 11 ). Evaporation will create a highly humid,
 oppressive heat feeling (bochorno).

Afternoon: Typical rainy season dynamics will take over. Expect scattered,
short-lived but heavy downpours and thunderstorms across the Pacific
slopes of Panama, Costa Rica, Nicaragua, Honduras, El Salvador, and Guatemala.

Marine Conditions: Safe and stable navigation along the Pacific coast with
wave heights between 0.5 and 1.2 meters, except for temporarily rough seas
directly under localized afternoon storms.
